5 Roadblocks to Success When Building a Money Making Blog
In part 1 I talked about how YOU can be your own worst enemy. In part 2, I’ll look at 5 key related areas that can be our biggest roadblocks and how to overcome them. This will help us not be our own worst enemy.
Here are some other points about how your time can so easily get wasted, pulling you from your PRIME OBJECTIVE of developing content and building out your site!
The 5 Roadblocks to Success
Roadblock #1 - Distraction, browsing, reading everything you can but NOT DOING ANYTHING
Solution: Once you know the basics, stop reading and start doing it! Experiment. Experience is the best teacher.
Otherwise you are only getting everything second hand and waiting for someone else’s story and this prevents you from finding out for yourself! Experience is still the best teacher.
Roadblock #2 – Lack of clear exact purpose and focus. This keeps people from starting.
Solution: Maybe you have to try something and find your niche as you go instead of waiting for it to appear all your life (which it will not in that fashion for most people!)
Roadblock #3 - Lack of knowledge about what exactly to do and how exactly to do it. You may know the generalities but not the specifics. You have to know things exactly.
Solution: Learn the “Top 10″ key things. Learn the specifics. Not just “download widget x”. Actually how to download it, put it on the site, AND how to use it.Write down what exactly they are or search for the answer.
Google is alive and well, so use it. My site is also here to help! As I produce more content you will have more to reference. But get started too! See #1.
