Pre-Posting Blog Article Checklist
I know this works best because this is what I personally use!
This is my personal quick-to-post checklist that I have decided to share with you. This is not meant to be a long drawn out checklist. It’s truly meant to be quick and easy to use for each post that I write.
Every post must meet this criteria before I can post it (to the best of my ability)
1. Catchy Title
2. Keywords Identified and Keyworded Title Used A (use Seobook tool as needed for post title optimization)
3. Has overall blog theme mentioned 2-3 times throughout such as – at start, in middle, at the end
4. Has category this post falls under or belongs to, also mentioned a couple times
5. End of post provokes action beneficial to you retaining readership (i.e. “subscribe”)
6. Not too long (300-500 words = best)
7. Split into first and second or more series opportunity and references and reiterations (and later inter linking once all are build as one massive effort). Also chain referencing and lead up to next one or review of the last one for linking opportunities and chaining.
8. Spell check – edit – spell check – edit – read – edit (and after all that I still somehow make spelling errors!)
9. Grammar read/check and out loud if there’s time. I know, it never seems like there is an opportunity to do this up front. Then maybe use a go-back strategy to do it later. Not the greatest plan but hey, whatever is necessary I guess.
10. Next day read to look at it with fresh eyes before posting.
