Keeping Your Site Dynamic and High Traffic With Content Change Widgets
What to do if you can’t post every day
Here’s a super cool tip that caused my blog to move way up in the SERPS (or at least I think this was attributed by what I am about to tell you.).
Using this technique, I get all kinds of traffic…again or at least I think it’s from doing this (not 100% conclusive yet though).
A Tip for Your Money Making Blog
I put a dynamic widget on it that changed the sidebar content often and that seemed to fit or complement my blog.
This constantly changing content on my sidebar widget may have been a big help making readers see fresh content and come back to my site versus other sites. I do not change the main content at the same rate so I use the dynamic sidebar content widget.
If that content changes, does this ping other sites? No. But once your site is on Feedburner and other social media and RSS or RSS aggregator sites, they will probably visit you as often as any or your sites when they see fresh daily content or assume its there and re-visit at that interval.
The sidebar widget seems to help somehow get something (points, karma, link love, whatever it is, whatever you call it) so you get indexed higher.
Maybe the search engines also rank you higher based on the traffic to your site so you get more traffic, then rank still higher, then get more traffic, and so on…that’s the snowball effect of success brings more success.
So try the widgets for half of all of your sites and see if it helps! You may also make them automatically come across as being content sites and not junk sites only!
