How To Make Money Blogging The Right Way
Is the Make Money Blogging Niche Overrated?
To some degree, yes it is. Most people who enter the “make money online” niche will not make much money nor a sustainable income because of the following reasons:
Their lack of experience. This alone will slow them down while the market gets bigger and bigger. This also means, as they try to implement their ideas, they are too slow and many others will surpass them along the way – plus they will make too many mistakes that further slow them down.
Their lack of a clear vision, goal and plan. Just saying you want to make money online by blogging and then throwing up a bunch of Google ads doesn’t work as well anymore as it used to.
I’d say that the chances for success with such a strategy have decreased at least tenfold, if not a hundredfold these days. For one, people don’t fall for Google ads anymore.
Second, Google ads per click give you only pennies on the dollar. That is nothing. You’ll make a bunch or two a day, maybe enough for a couple Starbucks each week. Definitelynot enough to be able to quit your job for!
Their lack of knowledge and ability to build and maintain a quality site and then monetize it and market it effectively. There’s too much repeptitive and often useless information out there that just distracts most people from an overall effective strategy and plan to truly make money online.
