Why does the best advice sometimes come from unlikely sources?

Simple. Many reading these articles are just as interested in search engine optimization traffic building and quality content as those writing the article.

They have probably learned some important things in their own quest to become the next Problogger or Copyblogger or their own unique voice and version of some other professional blogger.

Some of their advice is very solid and actually is a hidden nugget that often goes ignored or unread so my advice to you is simply this: Read comments after good articles or even after mediocre articles because you may find what you’re really looking, the hidden nuggets of worthwhile information that may actually make reading the article worthwhile!

Golden nuggets and hidden tips in unlikely sources

I’d like to know what you end up finding when you try this, so let me know if you discover anything groundbreaking or at least share any good tidbits and hidden golden nuggets about blogging, traffic building and SEO.

People who leave the comments are probably working the hardest to be successful and may have some excellent advice that otherwise would not go found or heard, since the pros really don’t need to give these nuggets anymore.

They may share some, but they have traffic and they don’t need to tell you all of their tricks. Plus, they may have lost touch a bit and may not know as much anymore as the underdogs.

Maybe this is a new phenomenon we can tag or label somehow

Perhaps we can call this tailcoat tips. Either way, I think it’s worth looking into, so let me know what you find! Share your tailcoat tips with all! Just respect copyrights! If the blog owns the comment, they can do their tailcoat tipping in a new category, or somehow highlight the nugget. I think this has some promise, no?

Cheers!
