A Blog Success Waverider Strategy That Works In a Tight Niche 3
In part 2 of A Blog Success Waverider Strategy That Works In a Tight Niche, I…
Talked about the many areas you can build or fall under for your money-making blogs. In part 3 here I will list several more for you to consider…so here goes:
The Trendwatcher
Site example: Google Zeitgeist
Follows the spirit of the times for what is being searched for or thought about these days.
The Analyst
Site example: Huffington Post
Gives a political or professional analysis and opinion
The Social Host
Site example: Oprah.com
You can also interview others as a sort of social host. Oprah and others do this for a living and are very successful. People love stories so they listen. Reader’s Digest depends on this. Do the same.
The Forum
Site Example: V7N.com
Provides a collaborative web 2.0 way of sharing knowledge and solutions, not as structured and not as difficult to share.
The Wiki
Site Example: Wikipedia
Provides a more formal, structured, organized, semi-collaborative web 2.0 way of sharing knowledge and information and creating a type or encyclopedic knowledge base.
The Product Reviewer
Site example: Engadget
Looks at products, gives opinions and advice or just raves about the new.
The Commentator
Site example: Michelle Mallkin
Makes comments to news, events, happenings, and the political scene
The Lister
This person loves lists and builds lists left and right, which others can find useful.
- 10 Directories That List Directories for Link Building
- 10 Top Places to vacation Cheap
- 10 Best Places to Work for To Dollar
Notice my list has a subject and then a reason to visit. Not just 10 places to vacation, but to vacation Cheap.
So reading this may help someone save money. Now that will get them to read it over the 10 others that just say 10 Top blah blah blah without hinting to a benefit.
The Unconventionalist
Site example: Smokinggun
Takes media reports to another level and produced the smoking guns and extra details not available in such short and often ill-informed summaries on paper.
In other words, tells you the rest of the story and tries to get it right the second time when they missed it the first time. Produces the proof that the other articles seem to not need yet make claims and tall tales that should just be accepted at face value.
Wow, what a concept!
The Politicist
Site example: Huffington Post, Michelle Mallkin, Pat Buchanan
Some of the above but with a political niche or flavor
Now You Go Do It Better!
I’ve given you a range of options and ideas to choose from for your money-making blog. So go use an existing post and reference it, but then take it to the next level and/or explain it better. Add some details they missed. Agree, then throw in more info.
Ride the wave!
Many bloggers in a similar niche do this. It’s a way they feed off of each other without interfering but instead by complementing and adding to the quality of the information. It’s a different form of competition, a more ethical, friendly, and non-cut-throat Capitalism.
This is what I call a true capitalism or responsible capitalism that the blogosphere understands well, and tends to accomplish better than the business world of greedy cutthroats who couldn’t (they give capitalism a bad name.)
In fact, such types go against true capitalism, when all is said and done, and turn into monopolists instead of true capitalists who help each other like us bloggers.
Rather than backstab each other and thereby making non-capitalists hate us even more, we are a community of helpful capitalists.
Wow, bet you didn’t know that Within Making Blogging Lies The Real Secret To Responsible Capitalism!
See how this works?
The opportunities are endless, and the web 2.0 world and method is truly unique, pro-capitalist, pro-democracy, pro-little-person and pro-freedom. What is there not to like?
I’ve probably mentioned at least one type of blog you’re interested in becoming or falling under – or using to create a new spinoff or hybrid with.
Ask yourself – Where are your interests and ideas? What do you like to talk about? How can you turn it into something you like to do, that others can get something useful or entertaining they are looking for?
The opportunities are many
Now go find it and do it in an existing niche, and make it even tighter and highly sought after! Make some money online doing this!
